This week has been a busy one at work and I have neglected my blogging.

This morning we went to Don Pedro's for a Mexican breakfast buffet. It was very good and the service was excellent.

We stopped at a yard sale on the way home and got a book.

Later I went to the veterinarian and got another 3-pk of Frontline Plus for Precious. I put one tube of it on her as soon as I got home.

I got a book in the mail today that I had ordered, Revolution, by George Barna.

On the way to work this morning I noticed that one of my tires was very low, so as soon as I got in the office I called AAA. They came out and changed the tire for me. This afternoon I will take the flat to be fixed. I'm glad I wasn't stranded out somewhere with it. I live only a few blocks from the office where I work.

Our church met jointly with two other churches this morning at one of their locations. The church was pretty well filled and all three pastors did a combined service. It was a good service.

After we got home, we went to a nearby steak house for lunch, then came home and relaxed. I took quite a long nap this afternoon.

It has been thundering and did drop a few sprinkles, but then stopped.

Today was a beautiful day, but hot.

This afternoon I went to a surprise birthday party for an 88-year-old lady who goes to our church. She seemed to enjoy it very much.

I called Lorie this evening and wished her a happy birthday also.
