Journey for a Day

I just read that the word journal came from the phrase "journey for a day".

My journey for today started with it being darker than the same time yesterday morning. Daylight Savings Time started this morning at 2 a.m. I waited until 7:45 a.m. to leave for church and it was just barely light.

The adult Sunday School teacher forgot to turn his clock forward last night and the class went on without him. It was almost over by the time he arrived.

We took up a special offering at church to help the people in Japan who are suffering the aftermath of the huge earthquake/tsunami.

When I got home, Sis had lunch ready. She had left her church a little early.
We had smoked sausage, red skinned potatoes and salad.

We talked to our brother and sister-in-law in Colorado this afternoon.

For supper we had macaroni and cheese.

So far that is my journey for today.
