I read Genesis 8, Psalm 8, and Matthew 8.

For breakfast I had oatmeal, a banana and coffee.

It was 28 degrees when I got up at 4:30 a.m. I could have stayed under the warm blankets awhile longer, but the cat, Calvin was meowing insistently. He is so convinced that I am oversleeping if I sleep that long.

By 6:15 a.m. it was down to 27 degrees. I think the lowest this morning was 25 degrees.

I got off work at noon. I came home and had a bowl of tomato soup. Sis had used a recipe I found on the internet. It calls for a can of tomato soup with the addition of chopped onion, basil, garlic powder, butter, and a cup of milk. It was very good. I also ate the rest of the chicken I had saved from yesterday.

I went to the beauty shop at 1:00.

For supper we had smoked sausages on whole wheat buns and sliced scrapple.
I made a loaf of French honey bread in the bread machine and we each had a slice of that with butter later.

It is predicted to get down to 14 degrees tonight.
